DIGITAL DOSING
Once we perform all of our Water Tests we can perfectly balance your water. We use a Proprietary Software Application that we had built specifically for us.

Pool Service In Paradise Inc Dosing App
Yes, there are commercially available applications for pool water dosing, but none of them quantify the readings from all of the tests and calculate values for the entire body of water like ours does.
An open body of water is more accurately balanced using specific chemical targets depending on whether the surface of your pool is Plaster, Vinyl, Fiberglass or Resin Based like Pebble Tec®️.
Our technicians are trained and certified in Water Chemistry, but our Proprietary Software Application makes it easy for them to dose your pool properly based on the individual test results.
Our Targets include:
Calcium Hardness
Alkalinity
pH
Chlorine
Cyanuric Acid
Salt (For Salt Pools)
Borates (Ask about Borates)

Alkalinity Measured Digitally By Weight in Oz.
Powdered Compounds are measured by weight in Ounces. Liquid Compounds are converted to weight based on their specific density in our software, then is ratioed based on the weight of your pool water. This is the only way to calculate Parts Per Million (PPM) accurately.
We never add an estimated quantity of anything to your pool. Our approach is purely scientific.
POOL EQUIPMENT
MONITORING
Your pool functions as a complete system. The Pump, Filter, Salt Cell if present, Plumbing and Valves need to be maintained and are subject to deterioration and leaks.

Pool Pump, Cartridge Filter & Plumbing
The best way to keep your pool equipment in good working order is to have properly balanced water. Pool water that is in balance is not corrosive and will dramatically increase the life of your pump. Keeping your Calcium Harness, pH and Alkalinity at the target levels will reduce scale.
We keep out customer's pools perfectly balanced, but if your water has not been properly maintained for an extended period of time the following issues could occur:
Calcium Deposits
Corrosion
Visible or Non-Visible Leaks
Salt Cell Calcification
Sticking Valves
Filter Deterioration
All of our new customers will get a complete assessment of their current system, and any repairs that are recommended or necessary will be noted.
We will continue to monitor all of you equipment at every visit with before and after photos.
This way, you will have peace of mind that your pool is functioning as it should for many years to come.
WATER TESTING
Water Balance in your pool is critical. Keeping your water perfectly balanced is critical for the safety of swimmers and the longevity of your pool's eqipment and surface.

Droplet Titration Test with Mag-Stirrer
This is why we do a full panel of tests on every visit. We use lab grade equipment, and test for each of the following chemical coumponds:
Calcium Hardness
Alkalinity
pH
Cyanuric Acid
Chlorine
Salt Level (For Salt Pools)
Water Temperature

Centrifugal Fluidic Photometer
For Start-Up Customers, we run a full Ten-Panel Water Test with a Spin-Touch Centrifugal Fluidic Photometer that gives us Decimal-Accurate readings for the following Water Compounds:
Free Chlorine
Total Chlorine
Combined Chlorine
pH
Alkalinity
Hardness
Cyanuric Acid
Copper
Iron
Borates
Calcium Harness & Alkalinity readings are more accurate with Droplet Titration testing. We do a full panel of Droplet Testing to make sure we have a complete understanding of your pool water when we begin.
We never cut corners or use Dip-Strips to save time.
The key to perfect pool water is to perform a complete panel of tests on every visit, and that's exactly what we do.
WATER LEVEL
MONITORING
The Water Level in your pool is important. In a pool with a Fiberglass Surface or one with a Vinyl Surface like the one pictured below, there are water level indicators on each side of the Skimmer Housing. On a pool with a Plaster or Pebble Tec Surface, the water level should be maintained Mid-Skimmer.

Vinly Lined Pool with Level Lines
Your water level can drop because of a leak or evaporation. If it is exceedingly hot weather with little or no rain, evaporation is usually the cause. If there is a leak in either the pool itself, or in visible or concealed plumbing, the water drop will happen at a more constant rate.
If the water level drops below the Standard Operating Level, the following issues could occur:
Reduced Skimmer Effectiveness
Pump Cavitation (Pump Sucks Air)
Reduced Water Circulation
Destruction of Pool Pump
If there is significant rain and your skimmer doesn't have a Drain-Off Tube, the water level could get too high. This is especially an issue with pools that have a Vinyl Liner. The potential issues include:
Reduced Skimmer Effectiveness
Water Getting Behind the Liner
Most modern pools in Southwest Florida do not have a Vinyl Liner, although several of our customers have Vinyl Lined In-Ground Pools.
Regardless of the type of surface your pool has, we monitor the water level and include a picture of it on every visit. This will ensure that your Skimmer works as it should, and save you the expense of replacing a pump due to water starvation.
SKIMMER CLEANING
Keeping your Skimmer Basket clean and free of debris, ensures that your pump can do it's job effectively. All kinds of things can end up in your Skimmer Basket.

Skimmer Basket Cover
All kinds of items can end up in your skimmer basket, and some of them can restrict water flow and cause stress and strain on your pump. We clean the skimmer basket, and the rim and lid on every visit for Full-Service Customers
